I am very excited to partner with SUST! Health for a long weekend of energising Strala yoga, Exmoor hiking, fitness, cold dipping, nutritional talks and a nurturing seasonal menu.
Following the Fit, Flow, Fuel programme structure offered at Sust!Health, this mini retreat break coincides with one of the most dramatic times of the year in Exmoor.
If you enjoy kicking up the leaves and hiking for hours in spectacular Autumnal scenery, then this retreat is calling your name. Guests will enjoy two long guided hikes on Saturday and Sunday along spectacular coastal and moorland trails.
Strala Yoga is a fusion of yoga, tai chi, & shiatsu. SJ will guide you through this mind-body practice of fluid routines and breath-body connection, so you leave your mat relaxed, revived, and ridiculously happy!
Classes are suitable for beginners even if you can’t bend past your waistline. You will move through sequences where the only rule is moving where it feels good to move and where feeling good is the goal. SJ’s aim is for you to throw away the quest for the pose and all those so called “yoga rules”. Warning! Strala may make you live with more ease and create warm fuzzy feelings.
Short, punchy strength training and HIIT sessions taught by Natalie from Sust!Health will compliment your yoga journey and ensure that you leave with a new lease of life in your booty, arms and core!
Accompany us for some cold water dipping in wild swim spots and experience the wonders of this ancient, rejuvenating health practice! Multiple cold dipping opportunities will be offered throughout the weekend so there will be plenty of time for us to brainwash you into giving it a go…. You won’t regret it!
In keeping with our food philosophy, our menu will celebrate local, organic, seasonal produce and you can expect to enjoy colourful summer salads, cleansing smoothies, and raw vegetable juices, in addition to highly nutritious traditional foods sourced locally such as eggs, cheese, wild fish and game. Vegetarians and vegans will not miss out and will be offered excellent and highly nutritious alternates.
Avoid those airport blues and the uncertainty of International travel in the current environment. Travel direct to Woodlands in your own private car, with free parking on site. Alternatively, if you wish to travel by train, you can book a private taxi transfer from Barnstaple station.

This retreat will comply with Covid-19 government guidelines. Guest numbers have been restricted to 4 couples or twins (maximum 8 guest capacity). Each couple or pair will have their own en-suite bathroom and shared accommodation cannot be offered to guests who do not know one another. All recommended hygiene procedures will be put in place to ensure guest safety.
